We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of our newest educational project: The Appraisal Kids—a video series where real estate and appraisal topics are explained by kids, made for adults.

Yes, you read that right. At TruHome Appraisal, we believe that no one should feel overwhelmed by the appraisal process. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, a seasoned real estate pro, or just curious about how property values are determined, this channel is designed to make learning simple, fun, and easy to understand—with help from the most unexpected teachers: kids!

The Appraisal Kids is a growing collection of short videos that tackle essential real estate and appraisal topics in a fresh, lighthearted way. Each episode breaks down a single concept—like what an appraiser does, how square footage is measured, or what makes a comp comparable—using language that’s simple, direct, and accessible.

The twist? The information is delivered by kids!

Why Real Estate Education from Kids?

Let’s be honest—appraisal terms can be dry and confusing. But when a child explains them, something magical happens. The message becomes approachable, digestible, and even a little bit charming.

We created The Appraisal Kids to remove the intimidation factor from real estate education. If a kid can explain it clearly, anyone can understand it. And that’s the point. Our videos are designed to empower clients, educate real estate professionals, and make the appraisal process less mysterious.

Meet the Face of the Channel

The star of The Appraisal Kids is Cosette, a bright and spirited 5-year-old with a big personality and a knack for delivering appraisal facts with a smile. Cosette is the daughter of TruHome’s founder and a natural in front of the camera. While she doesn’t understand everything she says just yet, that’s where the adults step in to back her up with professional insights.

Together, Cosette and her adult co-hosts blend accuracy with entertainment, creating a format that’s both trustworthy and fun.
